Whensoever a person goes to an unknown place or meets a stranger, he has a lot of doubts about him. In the same way, when we go to a new school, our mind is full of doubts and questions. We are very nervous. We are eager to know about the new teachers and classmates. I still remember the first day of my new school. I was in the ninth standard. I was going from secondary school to senior secondary school.

When
I entered the gate of my new school,I got surprised. Its campus was huge
in size. The school-building was beautiful. I found out my classroom and went
inside.Most of the seats were full. I saw the last bench was vacant and sat
there. All of my classmates were staring at me in a strange manner. After
sometime, we went to the school playground for morning assembly. A group prayer
was held there. Later, the Principal, addressing the new
students, conveyed to them the importance of discipline.
Our class teacher entered the class in the first period. She introduced me to the whole class. She asked me about my previous school and my result. The first four periods passed in this way. Some of my classmates came to talk to me. We went out during the recess. I had managed to make some friends till then. I shared my lunch with them. They showed me the school library, the science laboratory and the indoor stadium. They also told me about some other teachers of school.
I took notes from them. They promised to help me in-completing
my syllabus. Some naughty students tried to do mischief with me. That experience
was also good. We enjoyed together a lot. All of my classmates were nice.
enjoyed the first day of my new school very much. Sometimes, I remember that
day even today.

It is quite common to face examinations in
student life
In spite of this, the first day of any
examination is very difficult to face. We are very nervous. We want to revise
everything again and again. We keep on thinking about the question paper. Some
students do not sleep the whole night before examinations. The first day of my
board examination was also the same.
The first paper was of English. I had prepared
well. But, I revised each and every topic again and again. I could not sleep
the whole night before the examination. I left the bed early in the morning. I
got ready to go for examination. I took my elders' blessings and left for
school. My heartbeats were fast; I was in a great confusion.
When I reached school, I saw that everybody was
busy
in studying. Mostly, every student was tense.
Some students were studying in the corridors. Some were sitting in the
classrooms and discussing the probable questions. Some of them were talking to
teachers about their doubts. Some students were remembering God.Just then the
bell rang. All the students went to their classrooms. We took our seats. The
teacher came and gave us question papers. I read it once. I was very happy to
see that it was quite easy. Till some time, I was very tense. But now, I
regained my confidence. As soon as I got the answer book, I started writing my
answers. Most of the students were busy in writing. But, some students were
looking here
and there.
I finished the paper in time. I revised the
answers. While revising, I felt that my all answers were correct. So, I was
very happy. The final bell rang. The teacher collected the answer-books. I left
the examination hall with a smiling face. The first day of my examination was
very good as I answered all the questions well. I cordially thanked God for
this.
